My husband, Leonard and I along with our three girls, Michaela, Joanna and Rebecca moved to Memphis from Omaha NE in July of 2000 to build, own and operate the café inside the Pink Palace Museum in midtown Memphis.

 

We learned of this opportunity from an acquaintance and having successfully run a restaurant before we were interested in pursuing our love of the hospitality industry. We came to visit to see what Memphis and the museum had to offer our family. Although it would be a big change for, as we have never lived in the South and knew no one here, we liked what we saw.
 

 

It has been a great experience for our children since they had ready made jobs in the café. They have learned much through their work here and by visiting the different exhibits in the museum and the IMAX.

 

Leonard and I meet many wonderful people, both in-state and out of state, who come to the museum and choose to have lunch with us. We also continue to enjoy being a part of your family's and friend's celebrations through our catering and COOKIE SHINES. We are grateful for your patronage and are honored to serve you.
